But when talking about furniture, Chinese has been oblivious about their very own thousand-year tradition in Chinese craftsmanship, forgot about a giant’s shoulder is ready for us to stand on. Instead, furnitures taken out of Chinese context has dominated the market.
In this contemporary Chinese furniture series, we inspired and learnt from the beam in traditional timber structures, incorporating ancient ingenuity in a contemporary context.
These furnitures does not only act as a functional component in an interior space, but an aesthetic one as well.
